We believe that everything we have comes from God. We are merely the stewards for those gifts. For all God has given us, God asks for a mere 10% (tithe) to be returned. This 10% we use to try to further the kingdom.
“You do well in everything else. You do well in faith and in speaking. You do well in knowledge and in complete commitment. And you do well in your love for us. So make sure that you also do well in the grace of giving to others.”2 Corinthians 8:7
Stewardship—to serve as one who manages another’s property, finances or other affairs—is not just means for the church to raise money. It is a way of life that recognizes that everything we have is God’s and we are simply managing those resources while here on earth.
Methodist Approach To Stewardship
John Wesley urged those in connection with him to “earn all you can and save all you can so that you can give all you can.” He modeled modest living and sacrificial giving. Wesley made sure that those early classes of “Methodists” took weekly offerings to help others in need.
Today, we, as United Methodists, join others to help all of God’s children whenever and wherever we can, just as Jesus multiplied the loaves and fishes when the crowd grew hungry. Simply by being a part of The United Methodist Church we help people all over the world because of our connectional ministries.

What is Electronic Giving? As the use of technology increases, more people are discovering the convenience of paying their bills online. Your church now accepts electronic giving, which saves you from writing a check or buying postage. Electronic giving means true "green" giving for your greenbacks! Together, we're saving the trees in our forests and our landfills from more useless waste.
Electronic giving provides a simple and convenient way to give to the church, either as a one-time gift or on a recurring basis as in your pledge. Access our secure online giving website here.
Some people use credit cards for purchases and then pay the whole amount due at the end of the month. Other people, however, simply incur more debt. It is our intention for electronic giving to be a safe and convenient way for our congregation to give their tithes and offerings to the church, not a way for our members to increase indebtedness. Please give prayerfully and wisely.
